Per aspera ad astra.

志合者，不以山海为远

Nothing, not even mountains and seas, can separate people with the same goals and vision.

志趣相投的人，不会因为山海阻隔而感到遥远。(出自葛洪《抱朴子·博喻》)

goal and vision：目标和远见

己所不欲，勿施于人

Do not do onto others what you do not want others to do onto you.

自己不愿意做的事，不要强加给别人。(出自《论语·卫灵公》)

远亲不如近邻

A neighbor near is better than a relative far away.

远道的亲戚不如近旁的邻居。(出自元代秦简夫《东堂老》)

山重水复疑无路，柳暗花明又一村

Despite difficult terrain ahead, as we press on along the road, we will reach the next village shaded in willows and with blooming flowers.
